What Do I Do?

I believe my family member needs the care that Heartland provides.  What is the process for Admission?  What do I do next?

First, have a discussion with your family member's primary care physician.  The physician will identify and document your family member's specific care needs.   Admission to Heartland requires a doctor's written care order.

Second, call our Admissions Director at (336) 358-5100 to arrange a meeting and receive a tour of our facility.  Our Admissions Director can answer questions you may have about Long Term Care and Heartland.  We will gladly show you our community and introduce you to some of the people directly involved in caring for our residents.

Assistance with Reimbursements

As a total healthcare provider, one of our key roles is resident advocacy. Heartland is committed to insuring that you receive all of your entitled healthcare benefits. We work closely with families to explore every possible reimbursement option, and accept payment from a variety of sources, including:
